Olivia Ewing (Year 9) who went down to Invercargill in the weekend to race in the ILT New Year Carnival held over the weekend in Invercargill.
She did extremely well and managed to take out the 37km Road race on the Saturday, the O J Henderson Trophy (which has a lot of prestigious names) for the Junior wheel race, and the Ascot Park Hotel U15 Criterium race on the Sunday morning.
She also finished 1st place in 6 of the 7 U15 girls track races.
Olivia will be off to NZ Track Nationals in March this year.
