Parents’ and Friends’ Association

The Craighead Parents' and Friends' Association is made up of the families of the girls who attend our school and exists to provide links between parents, friends of the school, teachers and girls.

When a girl begins at Craighead, her Parents or Caregivers automatically become members of the Association. Each family pays $40 per year, and may become members of the Association's working committee at each Annual Meeting, held during Term One.

Within this committee a President, Secretary, Treasurer and Vice President are elected and three members of the Committee represent the Association on the Craighead Board of Proprietors, which ensures good communication within the School Community.

At the AGM held recently the following office bearers were elected:

Treasurer:                Mrs Rosemary Chandler

The Parents' and Friends' Association helps wherever possible around the school. Fundraising is organised by the Association which gives generous financial support to the School to help the girls, eg. donation to all teams, groups and individuals who travel away to represent our School at sports and cultural events. 

The Association works very closely with the girls' Social Committee to organise School Socials, the School Formal and also the Year 13 Leavers' Ball.

The Association also provides opportunities for parents to meet at special events designed to enable good networking amongst parents.
